Kickstart Your PR Career with Caliber’s Summer Graduate Associate Program.

Gain real client experience, expert mentorship and the skills to launch your PR career with Caliber’s Summer Graduate Program.
We’re excited to share that applications are now open for Caliber’s 2025 Summer Graduate Associate (GA) Program — a three-month immersive experience designed to bridge the gap between coursework and real-world public relations and marketing work.
This program is an opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on client experience, work alongside industry experts and hone the skills needed to thrive in financial services and fintech PR — all while being part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning and development.
And the experience doesn’t stop when the summer ends. Many of our past GAs have used this program as a springboard into full-time roles at our agency, applying what they’ve learned to launch their PR careers. Successful GAs may have the opportunity to transition into an Account Coordinator position at Caliber after completing the program.
We’re now accepting applications for our 2025 Graduate Associate Program through Friday, March 21, at 11:59 p.m., ET. But before you apply, let’s take a closer look at what makes our program — and Caliber — stand out.
Why Caliber?
Caliber is a strategic marketing and communications agency specializing in financial services, fintech, insurance, insurance technology (insurtech), real estate and property technology (proptech). We help clients build visibility and credibility through strategic public relations, content marketing, social media and digital strategy, shaping the narratives that define their brands.
We’re also proud to be recognized for both our work and company culture. Caliber was named to the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies in America, was recently named among Fast Company’s Best Workplaces for Innovators and is the recipient of a Ragan’s Workplace Wellness Award — proof that we don’t just help clients stand out, we’ve created an environment where our team can thrive, too. (Not to mention, these are just a handful of the many awards we’ve received over the years.)

Why start your PR career at Caliber?
For many early-career PR professionals, one of the biggest questions is whether to start at an agency or go in-house. At Caliber, you’ll gain first-hand experience in the collaborative and diverse world of agency life, as well as:
- Work with multiple clients and industries, building expertise in fintech and financial services.
- Gain hands-on experience in media relations, content development and strategic communications.
- Sharpen your skills alongside experienced PR practitioners.
Who is the Summer Graduate Program for?
There’s no single path to PR success, and our Graduate Associates are proof. Past GAs have come from diverse fields — including PR, fashion and economics — bringing unique skills and fresh perspectives to the table.
We’re looking for curious, driven individuals who are eager to apply their skills to public relations. Whether communicating with clients, analyzing the news to identify media opportunities or crafting compelling awards and speaking submissions, the ability to think critically, adapt and tell impactful stories is what sets our team apart.
If you’re a strong communicator, an avid news consumer and passionate about storytelling — especially in finance and technology — we want to hear from you.

Learning that goes beyond the classroom
Curiosity is one of Caliber’s core values, and we believe in continuous learning through a mix of structured training and hands-on, real-world experience. That’s why our program is designed to give you both the foundational knowledge you need and the opportunity to apply it to real client work.
Here’s how we help you grow:
- Comprehensive onboarding: Your first step is getting up to speed on our agency, processes and tools at a steady, manageable pace.
- Caliber College of Public Relations (CCPR): Throughout the program, you’ll participate in a dedicated and award-winning training series led by Caliber team members covering essential topics like media relations best practices, professional communication, AI in reporting and data-driven PR strategies.
- Real client experience: At the same time, you’ll be supporting three client accounts, gaining firsthand exposure to media trends, executing PR outreach and contributing proactive, strategic ideas that make an impact.
Real work, real impact
We’ve all heard of those PR internships. You know, the ones where you fetch coffee for the team, sit in meetings just to take notes and never really get to be part of the action.
First of all, we’re fully remote — so the only person you’ll be grabbing coffee for is yourself (or not, maybe you’re a tea person). More importantly, from day one, you’ll be doing real work that contributes to client success and helps you grow as a PR professional.
Our Graduate Associates are active participants in client meetings, internal discussions and strategy sessions — not just observers. As a GA, you will:
- Join regular client calls and team discussions, contributing ideas and insights.
- Identify media opportunities to help clients gain visibility.
- Draft media pitches and award submissions that showcase client successes.
- Contribute to strategy and brainstorming sessions, helping shape PR initiatives.
Your time is valuable, and so are your perspectives. Right from the start, you’ll be empowered to take on meaningful work that directly supports both your professional growth and our clients’ success.
A stepping stone to a career in PR
We don’t bring in Graduate Associates just to show them the ropes — we hire with the intent to invest in their long-term success. Throughout the program, you’ll have a dedicated manager and mentor to guide you, provide feedback and help you grow. You’ll also work alongside a team that values fresh perspectives and is always eager to help you sharpen your skills.
While participation in the program doesn’t guarantee a full-time role, many of our past GAs have made the leap, including Casey Mannix, Derrius Rodgers and Jack Audett. They started as Graduate Associates and are now thriving at Caliber — Casey and Derrius as Account Executives, and Jack as an Account Coordinator.
In their own words:
“The hiring team saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself at the time, so to be given the opportunity to begin my career with Caliber as a Summer Graduate Associate and then to be brought on full-time was an amazing feeling.” – Casey Mannix, Account Executive
“The Graduate Associate Program at Caliber really helped kickstart my public relations career. Having the opportunity to jump into fintech and PR prepared me for the transition into a full-time Account Coordinator.” – Derrius Rodgers, Account Executive
“One of the biggest lessons I took from the program was learning how to manage multiple priorities effectively — a crucial skill in PR. Through real client work and continuous support from the team, I gained confidence in juggling different projects while developing the skills needed to succeed.” – Jack Audett, Account Coordinator
