We have put strict policies into place to ensure that the privacy of your business professional information is protected while still enabling you to make use of the products and services provided by Caliber. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, share and protect business professional information through our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and commonly asked questions about our services and technology.

This Privacy Notice applies to all of Caliber Corporate Advisers, LLC legal entities, including the Caliber Contacts business unit. This policy covers the following Caliber websites: www.calibercontacts.com and www.calibercorporateadvisers.com.

What Information We Collect
Caliber Contacts is a specialized web-based platform or search engine, similar to Google but focused on finding information about companies and professionals. We gather all information about companies from corporate web sites, press releases, and/or SEC documents filed with the US government. The business information we collect includes: company and business professional information, including business contact information such as name, title, address, phone number, email address, domain names and other pertinent company and contact specific information. Caliber Contacts does not seek to collect any information in relation to an individual’s race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health, genetic or biometric data. As a company policy, Caliber does not remove company information from our search engine.

Cookies
Most websites, including ours, use a feature of your browser to set a small text file called a “cookie” on your computer. The site placing the cookie on your computer can then recognize the computer when you revisit the site to allow auto log in and track how you are using the site.

When you visit our website, our servers and/or those of our service providers automatically record certain information that your web browser sends, such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, referring/exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, time and date of use and other information.

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., on our Site. Information Sharing
Caliber processes information so that is can supply commercial data about companies and business professional information to other businesses and organizations with whom we enter into agreements to license or access our data. Our customers enter into agreements or licenses with us because they wish to know who they are doing business with, better understand organizations, industries and markets or carry out direct marketing.

We may also disclose collected information, including Business Information, to a third party if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary or desirable: (i) to comply with lawful requests, subpoenas, search warrants or orders by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, (ii) to address a violation of the law, (iii) to protect the rights, property or safety of Caliber, its users or the public, or (iv) to allow Caliber to exercise its legal rights or respond to a legal claim.

Data Subject Rights
You have the right to request from us confirmation of whether we are processing your personal data, and if so access to that information. Please reference the below information about how to request access to your information. This may take up to 30 days, however you may be able to obtain specific information about your personal data immediately by contacting privacy@calibercorporate.com.

You have the right to object to our processing and/or request it is deleted or restricted. In considering our response we undertake to ensure your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms are properly balanced against our legitimate interests. We will also look at whether it is still necessary to process your data for the purpose it was collected.

How to Change or Delete Your Information
Consider these options for managing your professional profile on Caliber:

  • Update or Verify Your Business Professional Information
    Make sure your Caliber profile is up to date for those who may want to reach you. Simply, verify your Caliber profile and you can update your work history, contact information and even delete web references you do not want associated with your professional profile. You can also consolidate multiple Caliber profiles in your name to create a comprehensive snapshot of your professional background. Please contact us at privacy@calibercorporate.com if you want to verify or update your profile.
  • Remove Your Business Professional Information Completely
    We will always observe your objection to receiving either our Caliber marketing or to us passing on your contact details to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. If you wish to completely remove your existing individual profile from Caliber’s database please email privacy@calibercorporate.com. You may also communicate your opt-out request to Caliber by telephone or postal mail by using the contact information at the bottom of this privacy policy. If you make this choice, your company and business professional information, including business contact information such as name, title, address, phone number, email address and domain names will be removed from our search results as soon as possible.

Data Retention
Personal data is stored for varying lengths depending on the nature and purpose for which it was collected. We store personal data in line with any applicable statutory minimum periods, and then review it periodically to ensure it is still necessary to be retained for the purpose for which it was collected. Where there is a statutory maximum for which data can be retained, such as County Court Judgements we will delete accordingly on expiration.

Information Security
The security of your information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, California law permits you to request certain information regarding the disclosure of your personal information by us to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send your request, by mail or email, to the address at the end of this policy.
