Kickstart Your PR Career with Caliber’s Summer Graduate Associate Program.
Gain real client experience, expert mentorship and the skills to launch your PR career with Caliber’s Summer Graduate Program.
We’re excited to share that we’re now accepting applications for Caliber’s 2026 Summer Graduate Associate (GA) Program — a three-month immersive experience designed to bridge the gap between coursework and real-world public relations and communications work.
This program is an opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on client experience, work alongside industry experts and hone the skills needed to thrive in financial services, fintech and insurance communications — all while being part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning and development.
And the experience doesn’t stop when the summer ends. Many of our past GAs have used this program as a springboard into full-time roles at our agency, applying what they’ve learned to launch their PR careers. Successful GAs may have the opportunity to transition into an account coordinator position at Caliber after completing the program.
We’re now accepting applications for our 2026 Graduate Associate Program through Friday, March 6. But before you apply, let’s take a closer look at what makes our program — and Caliber — stand out.
Why Caliber?
For more than 15 years, Caliber has specialized in marketing and communications for financial services, fintech, insurance, insurtech, real estate and proptech — work that’s shaped by deep industry expertise and a passion for helping innovative brands tell their stories.
We’re also proud that our work and culture have been recognized along the way. Caliber has been named to the Inc. 5000 List, included on the Financial Times list of The Americas’ Fastest-Growing Companies for three consecutive years, recognized among Fast Company’s Best Workplaces for Innovators and honored with a Ragan’s Workplace Wellness Award — recognition that reflects not just the results we deliver for clients, but the environment we’ve built for our team.
Why start your PR career at Caliber?
For many early-career PR professionals, one of the biggest questions is whether to start at an agency or go in-house. At Caliber, you’ll gain first-hand experience in the collaborative, fast-paced world of agency life — while developing skills that translate directly to a career in public relations and communications.
As a graduate associate, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Work with multiple clients and industries, building expertise in fintech and financial services.
- Gain hands-on experience in media relations, content development and strategic communications.
- Learn alongside experienced PR practitioners through real client work, not simulations.
Who is the Summer Associate Graduate Program for?
There’s no single path to PR success, and our graduate associates are proof. Past GAs have come from diverse fields — including PR, fashion and economics — bringing unique skills and fresh perspectives to the table.
We’re looking for curious, driven individuals who are eager to apply their skills to public relations. Whether communicating with clients, analyzing the news to identify media opportunities or crafting compelling awards and speaking submissions, the ability to think critically, adapt and tell impactful stories is what sets our team apart.
If you’re a strong communicator, an avid news consumer and passionate about storytelling — especially in finance and technology — we want to hear from you.

Learning that goes beyond the classroom
Curiosity is one of Caliber’s core values, and we believe in continuous learning through a mix of structured training and hands-on, real-world experience. That’s why our program is designed to give you both the foundational knowledge you need and the opportunity to apply it to real client work.
Here’s how we help you grow:
- Comprehensive onboarding: Your first step is getting up to speed on our agency, processes and tools at a steady, manageable pace.
- Caliber College of Public Relations (CCPR): Throughout the program, you’ll participate in a dedicated and award-winning training series led by Caliber team members covering essential topics like media relations best practices, professional communication, AI in PR and data-driven communications strategies.
- Real client experience: At the same time, you’ll be supporting three client accounts, gaining firsthand exposure to media trends, executing PR outreach and contributing proactive, strategic ideas that make an impact.
Real work, real impact
We’ve all heard of those PR internships. You know, the ones where you fetch coffee for the team and never really get to be part of the action.
That’s not how Caliber’s Graduate Associate Program works.
From day one, graduate associates contribute to real client work — supporting campaigns, shaping narratives and helping bring ideas to life across industries. You’ll participate in client meetings, internal discussions and strategy sessions, not as an observer, but as an active member of the team.
As a graduate associate, you will:
- Join client calls and team discussions
- Identify media opportunities
- Draft media pitches and award submissions
- Contribute to strategy and brainstorming sessions

The video below offers a snapshot of the kind of work we do at Caliber and the moments that define a year of building, collaborating and delivering for clients. It’s also the kind of work graduate associates are part of every day — not observing from the sidelines, but contributing meaningfully alongside the team.
A stepping stone to a career in PR
We don’t bring in graduate associates just to show them the ropes — we hire with the intent to invest in their long-term success. Throughout the program, you’ll have a dedicated manager and mentor to guide you, provide feedback and help you grow. You’ll also work alongside a team that values fresh perspectives and is always eager to help you sharpen your skills.
While participation in the program doesn’t guarantee a full-time role, the program has served as a launchpad into PR careers at Caliber for many graduate associates. Here’s what a few past alumni have shared about their experience:
“The hiring team saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself at the time, so to be given the opportunity to begin my career with Caliber as a summer graduate associate and then to be brought on full-time was an amazing feeling.” – Casey Mannix, Account Executive
“One of the biggest lessons I took from the program was learning how to manage multiple priorities effectively — a crucial skill in PR. Through real client work and continuous support from the team, I gained confidence in juggling different projects while developing the skills needed to succeed.” – Jack Audett, Account Coordinator
For a closer look at what participation in the program actually entails, hear from Chania Crawford, a Caliber account coordinator and alum of Caliber’s Summer Graduate Associate Program, who reflects on starting her career in public relations and communications at Caliber — including being trusted with real client work early on, learning directly from experienced team members and gaining hands-on experience that shaped her growth as a PR professional.
Stay tuned — we’ll soon be sharing a blog post featuring in-depth interviews with three former graduate associates who have since transitioned into full-time roles at Caliber, offering additional perspectives on how the program supports early PR careers.
