Prior to joining Caliber, she worked for a boutique communications agency, where she represented clients across various sectors, such as B2B tech, femtech, and fintech. She also has a background in financial services, having previously worked at a financial institution in member relations. 

McKenna earned a B.A. in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology from The University of North Texas (UNT), where she was the secretary of the Public Relations Student Society of America UNT chapter.
