Like most entrepreneurs, Harvey Hudes saw a problem without a solution, and so decided to create the solution himself.
In June of 2010, when the financial and media world was still reeling from the effects of the Great Recession, Harvey already had several years under his belt as a magazine publisher. What he noticed then was that many of his clients struggled with getting the exact right message to the right target audience. Marketing and PR firms they worked with didn’t understand niche and highly specialized businesses.
And so with a dream and an idea, Harvey recognized he was in a unique position to help businesses in these industries tell their story and thus Caliber Corporate Advisers was born.
Since then, Caliber has worked with more than 100 companies, including industry leaders such as Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, KKR, and Berkshire Hathaway portfolio companies, numerous asset management firms, and other leading and entrepreneurial organizations.
Harvey directs the strategic vision of Caliber and provides executive guidance and oversight to the entire Caliber team by ensuring all activities map back to client business objectives.
Harvey maintains a close network of media, finance, insurance and communications professionals and holds advisory board positions with leading organizations including the Fintech Professionals Association, SXSW Pitch, The Financial Revolutionist and Benzinga’s Events Advisory Network. He is frequently cited in outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Pensions&Investments and Inc.
