Matthew Sheahan is a senior strategist at Caliber, where he works closely with capital markets clients to develop compelling media relations plans to achieve their business goals. He is also focused on growing strong media relationships on behalf of Caliber clients.
Matthew’s experience planning effective public relations campaigns includes his work crafting strategic campaigns designed to increase client profiles and gain traction among key audiences. He previously served as Head of Communications for Nasdaq’s North American Markets business and its Data Services unit. He also served as Vice President with Lansons Intermarket and as an Associate Vice President with Aspectus.
Matthew has led product launch campaigns while also overseeing communications around many regulatory and legal issues. He has helped unite communications teams joined together by acquisitions and worked with clients launching and advising new financial services. He has helped draft original content and craft vital messaging for clients including Manulife, NICE Actimize, Tradeweb, ITG, Société Générale and Stifel. He also spent 14 years as a financial journalist, covering venture capital, private equity, and the leveraged finance markets.
Matthew has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Georgia.
